We have been cloth diapering Mila since she was two months old and have really enjoyed the cloth diaper journey! Cloth diapering has many benefits, the cloth diapers come in cute prints, patterns and colors, they are environmentally friendly and cost effective. While the initial investment of cloth diapers isn't cheap, you are getting a great value in the long term and will save hundreds if not thousands a year over buying disposable diapers. You also prevent the use of toxic chemicals being near your baby and you save thousands of diapers ending up in landfills. It is a very green practice to cloth diaper!

A few days before Mila turned 13 months I took her last photo session of her at 12 months old. These are the final photos of her first year's monthly development photo shoots sitting on the blue chair with her little fox stuffed animal. Our little girl has grown up so fast! She is no longer a baby but is now officially our toddler.

A few weeks ago I did a post about being inspired to paint this plant wall in our family room black. Well its done! I ended up painting the wall a dark chocolate color that was actually leftover paint that was in our home already. The paint was found in our utility room, it was used to paint our pergola on our back patio. I really like the color and decided to just use what we already had to paint this wall. The color is called Phantom Mist by Olympic paint.

For Christmas my mother-in-law gifted me the prettiest handmade wood planter. She carved a wooden bowl into a unique shape, stained it and adorned pretty blue crystals on both sides of it. Then she filled it with an array of succulent plants and moss and drilled holes on the bottom for drainage.

I absolutely adore Mila's room! We spend a lot of time in this room whether we are changing diapers, playing or reading, it is so nice to be in a pretty environment. Her room is definitely a fun and peaceful place to spend time in. I would describe the style of the room as boho chic, it is cute, feminine and fun. There are lots of pink and gold tones with accents of blue, I really love everything about this room!
